“In this video, with the great cooperation of Xiao Meng, Senior Gu Xiang once again delivers a spectacular underwater performance. The video was filmed using both a fixed camera on the surface and a handheld camera that can be used underwater. The video opens with a thrilling compression bag. Komi is placed inside the bag, the air is pumped out, and she slowly descends into the water. Initially, they used a vacuum cleaner to extract the air, but soon realized that water pressure would relentlessly push even the smallest amount of air in the bag to the top. This compression efficiency far surpassed that of a vacuum cleaner. So, for the next few attempts, they used water pressure directly for compression, with surprisingly perfect results. The water flow enveloped her body, squeezing out every bit of air from the bag. With each wave, the compression bag tightly conformed to her curves, seemingly completely sealed off from the outside world. Komi described the experience as, “I’m underwater, but not underwater…” Next came the underwater breath-holding segment. Xiao Ming’s legs were held down by hands at the edge of the pool, her body completely submerged. If Xiaoming needed to breathe, she had to use her abdominal muscles to lift her body and head above water. If she wanted to rest or lie down to relax, she had to hold her breath underwater. This situation forced her to choose between exhaustion and breathing. However, Xiaoming’s excellent breath-holding ability and core strength made the challenge relatively easy for her. Although each breath was breathless, every time she raised her head, her eyes lit up with joy at having successfully completed the challenge. Ultimately, we decided on a more aggressive method: a collar and chain. Xiaoming pulled hard on the chain, forcing her to hold her breath for extended periods. Unable to decide when to surface for breath, this undoubtedly put Xiaoming under unprecedented stress and immense psychological pressure. She had to completely trust Xiaoming on the other end of the chain, completely giving up her right to breathe. But Xiaoming preferred a gentler approach, and after several attempts, I took over. Under my control, even when Xiaoming surfaced, I only gave her one or half a breath, barely allowing her to fully breathe. Under such intense and extreme pressure, Xiaoming eventually gave in, choking on water, coughing violently, and struggling. This proves that she has reached her limit.”
