“The plot is roughly this: Female police officer Nian Nian catches a thief carrying a lot of stockings and rope. While handcuffing and interrogating him (which is strangely satisfying, haha), she answers a phone call, and the thief finds the key to her handcuffs. When Nian Nian comes out, she’s taken hostage. The thief forces her to take off her stockings and stuffs them in her mouth, then tightly binds her to a chair and makes her struggle. That’s roughly the plot. I seem to quite like this kind of script where I occasionally have to be assertive, so I think I got a little into character during the interrogation”
