“I’ve been practicing mummification with electrical tape lately. Wrapping a mummy isn’t difficult, of course, but creating a smooth, shiny surface of the tape requires considerable skill. Thanks to Xiao Meng, I can keep it like this all day. This video shows how far I’ve come. Xiao Meng is placed inside a sleeping bag sock as a protective layer and wrapped from ankle to neck with black electrical tape. Then her legs and head are wrapped, leaving only her nose exposed. No matter what, she must constantly breathe fresh air to survive. While far from perfect, I’m already satisfied with her expressionless black face. Of course, the fun doesn’t stop there. I place her next to the pillar and wrap her up with tape to prevent her from moving. Now she can’t escape the pleasure or pain of the next game of [X_X]. Another strip of tape seals off her breathing, leaving her lungs almost without air, while a swim cap allows her to re-breathe a little of her own air, prolonging her agony. The gas mask with the rebreather bag provided more visual feedback: the gas mask lens was getting wetter and foggier inside. This showed the age of the gas mask and the air inside the rebreather bag. When we finally got her out of the cocoon, she was drenched in sweat from head to toe.”
