When the key turned the lock cylinder, the strange man who had been lurking behind the door made a lightning move, and a soaked handkerchief tightly covered her mouth and nose. The drug took effect quickly, and her consciousness receded like a tide, and her body fell weakly into the other’s arms. When she opened her eyes again, she found that she was tightly bound.
