“I’d been considering a breathing air supply system for a while, but because ordinary gas masks don’t have an exhaust port, I was missing a crucial accessory. Everything was solved when I received the silicone dog head model from Pupjoi (X: @Pupjoi)! It comes with two RD40 connectors and can be configured as a check valve with a diaphragm, making it the perfect accessory for the air supply end of a breathing air supply system. Through rock-paper-scissors, the dog head device was assigned to Xiaomeng. One connector is configured as a one-way inlet valve for inhaling fresh air; the other connector serves as an exhaust port, connected via a tube to the one-way inlet valve on Xiaojian’s gas mask, which is strapped to a chair. Another key component of this device is the KENZE pressure valve built into the center of the tube. This ensures that Xiaojian cannot inhale air from Xiaomeng’s system through simple inhalation. Only when Xiaomeng exhales actively, applying positive pressure to the pressure valve, can the passage open, allowing Xiaojian to inhale air containing a high concentration of carbon dioxide! The mask and tube are connected—the air supply begins. Xiaomeng naturally wouldn’t let this opportunity pass. Xiaomeng’s breathing is completely under her control. She doesn’t even need to touch Xiaomeng; simply holding her breath forces Xiaomeng to hold her breath in sync with her. However, this setup feels somewhat like “self-harming domination.” Due to voluntarily holding her breath, Xiaomeng herself also experiences difficulty breathing. Despite this, Xiaomeng still holds an absolute advantage. She breathes fresh air, while Xiaomei is forced to inhale exhaled air with reduced oxygen and increased carbon dioxide content. Furthermore, while Xiaomeng is prepared to hold her breath, Xiaomei is often cut off from breathing just as she exhales, yearning for the next breath. Several times, I clearly heard Xiaomei weakly shout, “I can’t do it!”, desperately squeezing out the remaining air from her almost empty lungs. That utter helplessness is shocking.
