“The girl, still longing for the “amazing massage parlor” after her first experience, booked a second appointment. The masseuse, as before, started with her feet, slowly relaxing her tense body. Then, with her prior consent, she entered the rope bondage session she had been most looking forward to: her feet, legs, arms, and upper body were secured with ropes in turn. As the knots tightened around her body, she said the even pressure felt like it was really pressing every “key acupoint.” After being secured, she followed the masseuse’s instructions to gently move her body, allowing the ropes to make more contact with her skin, experiencing a stimulation completely different from ordinary massages. Finally, the masseuse placed a safe gag over her mouth, symbolically “sealing off the air inside her body.” With all the preparations complete, this seemingly serious, but increasingly absurd, “miracle massage” officially began.”
